All music is a conversation across time. This album was conceived and realised on the ancient lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong / Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation, Traditional Custodians of this Country. We acknowledge and honour the unbroken spiritual, cultural and political connection they have maintained to this unique place for more than 2000 generations — a continuity of Presence, Knowledge and Songlines before which we stand in humility. Their song has never ceased. We listen. We also acknowledge and respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures across Australia, and pay our deepest respects to their Elders past and present.
